My Pilates Hub classes are taught as clinical Pilates sessions. Class sizes are smaller so a ‘hands on’ approach is adopted. Your posture, positioning and control are continuously monitored throughout the class to give you a personal, safe and effective experience.
Fitness-style Pilates classes usually have more participants, often delivered at a faster pace; endurance can be lost and the recruitment of the local stabilising muscles do not switch on, which is what we are aiming to strengthen in Pilates. Lower class numbers make it easy to monitor all participants and spot abnormalities, giving you the maximum benefit of your Pilates session.
I love to see people improve and progress each week, I strive to make the classes fun and interesting with different exercises each week (and often use small equipment for variety).
The classes are mixed ability, therefore, I am able offer safe progressions and regressions where necessary and offer individual advice which is one of the benefits of lower class sizes.

Reformer sessions are generally booked In a 5 and 10 session block. I can offer a one-off session if you'd to get a feel for the machine before committing.
One session will not correct any imbalances or rehabilitate you effectively, I will take you through some generic moves - based on the information we discuss. Once committing to a block, your first session will be running through a more detailed analysis of lifestyle, posture, muscle imbalances, mobility so I can determine needs of the sessions.
We will go through some exercises that are suitable for the rest of the session. After your first session I will tailor a plan to suit you and adapt where necessary as the weeks progress.
The Reformer we use is a clinical Reformer bed, different to those you may see in a fitness studio, allowing for a wealth of additional exercises to compliment your needs.
Reformer sessions are 60mins, please contact me before booking.

Mat based 1-2 -1 or 2-2-1 Pilates will be offered in a similar way to the Reformer Pilates except all exercises offered are based on the mat, instead of using the Reformer bed. Your first session will be running through a more detailed analysis of lifestyle, posture, muscle imbalances, mobility so I can determine and general needs of the sessions. We will go through some exercises that are suitable for the rest of the session. After your first session I will tailor a plan to suit you and adapt where necessary as the weeks progress.
For maximum benefit it would be beneficial (but not essential) to blend private sessions with the weekly group class.
If you are being seen by another practitioner such as an osteopath or physiotherapist feel free to provide me their details and details of your treatment as this will help achieve your goals faster.
